Biography
Mark is current President of the Central Coast Leagues Club Camera Club and heads a team of avid photographers who enjoy passing on the basic skills of the photographic art form to the newcomer.
In 2003 Mark won the club’s print and slide of the year competition and has had
wide acclaim with entries in local and national photographic competitions.
Also in 2003 The Australian Photographic Society held their annual convention at Central Coast Leagues Club at Gosford. Mark was offered and accepted the role of Official Photographer for this prestigious event.
APSCON 2003 required a full 6 days & nights of photographic coverage & included
the official opening, the presentation of awards and the closing ceremony.
Among those photographed were Robert Bell (Mayor of Gosford), Ken Duncan
(world famous panoramic landscape photographer), David Oliver (internationally
renowned available light wedding photographer) and Mike Leyland of the famous
Leyland Brothers.
Recently Lend Lease Corp Ltd, requested his expertise to photograph the opening
of the massive extensions to Erina Fair Shopping Centre.
This was a major photographic exercise and, in total, took 3 weeks to complete.
The coverage included images of all opening ceremonies, many and varied
events inside and outside the centre, live concerts in The Hive, fireworks, promotions, etc.
In addition he was given free reign to best capture the unique internal &
external architectural features of Erina Fair. All concerned with the project
were extremely impressed to have their work so beautifully represented in the photographs taken.
Mark is a forerunner in wedding photography on the Central Coast and has
embraced the exciting new medium of digital technology to produce some
stunning images.
Landscape, macro, architectural and portrait photography are also a passion.
