Biography
Mark was
President of the Central
Coast Leagues Club Camera Club for 3 years and helped organise and advise a team
of avid photographers who enjoy passing on the basic skills of the photographic
art form to the newcomer.
Mark has won the club’s print and slide of the
year competition on numerous occassions and has had
wide acclaim with entries in local and national photographic competitions.
In 2003 The
Australian Photographic Society held their annual convention at
Central Coast Leagues Club at Gosford. Mark was offered and accepted the role of
Official Photographer for this
prestigious event.
Among those photographed were
Robert Bell (Mayor of Gosford),
Ken Duncan (world famous panoramic
landscape photographer), David Oliver
(internationally renowned available light wedding photographer) and
Mike Leyland of the famous Leyland
Brothers.
This was a major photographic exercise and, in
total, took 3 weeks to complete. The coverage included images of all
opening ceremonies, many and varied events
inside and outside the centre, live concerts in The Hive, fireworks, promotions,
etc.
In addition he was given free reign to best
capture the unique internal & external
architectural features of Erina Fair.
All concerned with the project
were extremely impressed to have their work so beautifully
represented in the photographs taken.
